The Paris Mayor, Bertrand Delanoe, backed by the increasingly powerful warmist/ecofascist lobby, has unveiled his plan for a new and improved Eiffel Tower in 2012, just in time for the Presidential election.
One wonders if visitors to the City of Light will be impressed if his project comes to fruition.

(grin) Amerloque would be most happy to know where ... (wider grin) ... he was in a very nice clinique last April 1st ...
Nevertheless, one must ask oneself just how much such a scheme is in the planning stage. (even wider grin)
With the harebrained plan to build a pyramidal skyscraper at the Porte de Versailles, il n'y a plus rien d'étonnant.
In the 15th arrondissement inhabitants are apparently organizing already, since the building, if constructed in its current form, would cast a significant shadow, cutting off sunlight to a number of dwellings ... and, of course, impacting property values ...
